WELCOME TO SECOND GRADE!
Meet Mrs. Scrimshaw!
My name is Mrs. Scrimshaw, and I am so excited to be teaching second grade at St. Felix Catholic School this year! After teaching 5th grade for the past two years, as well as 6th grade Math and ELA, I am thrilled for this new chapter of teaching your 2nd graders. I absolutely love being part of the warm and welcoming St. Felix community, especially its wonderful focus on faith formation for our students.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Winona State University and bring 25 years of teaching experience from Rochester and Wabasha Kellogg School Districts, including time in elementary and middle school classrooms.
Family is at the center of my life. My husband, Rob, and I are the proud parents of seven children—six boys and one girl, and seven grandchildren. With all of our children now grown, our home is kept lively by Rob, myself, and our two Corgis, Bella and Bear! When I’m not in the classroom, I love spending quality time with family, doing Pilates, swimming, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors across all four seasons.
I am truly looking forward to a fantastic year of learning, growing, and sharing in faith with your children.
