Led by Ms. Brittany Logan

Hello, St. Felix Families!

 

My name is Brittany Logan, and I am excited to be teaching music to students in preschool through sixth grade this year. I can’t wait to share the joy of singing, playing instruments, and creating music together.

 

Education: I attended Saint Mary’s University and earned my bachelor’s degrees in Music and Piano Performance. Following my undergraduate studies, I went on to complete my Master’s in Teaching. 

 

Experience: This is my 8th year teaching general music and my 5th year at St. Felix School. I feel very fortunate to be a part of our church and school community. 

 

Fun Facts: I love playing piano and teaching piano lessons. I also enjoy walking and spending time outdoors with my family. 

 

I’m looking forward to a fun and musical year with your children!

On May 14, students in Preschool-Sixth grade put on a Spring Concert in the St. Felix Gymnasium. The students worked very hard preparing for this music event, and it was wonderful they were able to showcase their musical growth and creativity!

From singing hymns and learning instruments to exploring music theory and performance, students are encouraged to express themselves and grow in confidence through every note. Our program supports all grade levels and is an integral part of school life — whether preparing for Mass, special concerts, or seasonal celebrations.

We are proud to offer a music curriculum that not only educates, but also uplifts — cultivating a lifelong appreciation for the beauty and joy of music.

On May, 7, students in 5th & 6th grade went to the nursing homes in Wabasha to sing and play ukulele for the residents. Students worked with Mrs. Logan on 7 songs. There were many smiles on faces, and even some of the residents sang along to the songs!
