Welcome to first grade, I am so happy that you are here! Get ready for a great year full of lots of fun and learning.
What kinds of things will we learn about this year? Well... have you ever wondered why we have shadows? We'll learn why! Want to know how to spell words like "fantastic", "whale", and "because"? We'll learn those and SO MANY MORE! Tired of asking "what time is it"? We'll begin learning to tell time on our own! We'll learn some new prayers, become familiar with maps, write some amazing stories, and discover why the moon always looks different. On top of all of that, we will gain super important life skills like working as a team, managing our emotions, and showing empathy to others. It is going to be a phenomenal year!
