Meet Mrs. Schumacher
Hi! My name is Michelle Schumacher and I am thrilled to begin my seventh year as the first grade teacher here at St. Felix! I went through first grade (and all the other grades) in Plainview, MN. After high school I attended Saint Mary's University of Minnesota where I earned my degree in elementary education. During my junior year at Saint Mary's I was hired by Primrose School of Rochester, where I worked as a teacher's aide for a student with autism. After graduation I took a position at Primrose as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher where I stayed until I was hired here at St. Felix.
In my free time I love spending time with my family and friends, especially my nieces, nephews, and adorable Godchildren! My husband is a dairy farmer, and I love helping him on the farm, even though it can get a bit messy at times. I love playing volleyball and kayaking during the summer, bowling in the winter, and doing lots of reading and hiking in between!
These are a few of my favorite things...
Dolphins are my favorite animal. | Raspberries are my favorite food. |

I love Christmas! | Scotland is one of my favorite places. I took this picture on Loch Ness, but we didn't see Nessie! |
Elmer was my favorite book in first grade. | I love cooking and baking... and eating pasta! |
