Classroom Update (September 6-10, 2010)
| Math: In Everyday Math, we are going to work with graphs and patterns. We will be making a birthday graph, and an art project using patterns. | Handwriting: We will
continue to work with the right and left hands. Since we are
working with right and left hands, we get to dance the hokey
pokey. Thursday: We will learn what vertical lines are. |
| Reading: Our main reading selection is "Hands Can". All week we will discuss everything hands can do. | High Frequency Word: CAN Also - please be working with your child on letter recognition and letter sounds. |
| Religion: We are discussing all the wonderful things God made for us. We will be reading books, drawing pictures, and doing worksheets related to this topic. |
Sign Language: We continue to learn how to sign - bathroom, yes, no, sit, water, dog. |
