Math: We will be finishing Chapter 6: Number Systems and Algebra Concepts. Students will have workbook pages to do along with a Study Link for each section. We will start Tuesday with Chapter 6 Review. This will give students the opportunity to use Mimio. Monday: No School. Tuesday: Chapter 6 Review. Wednesday: Chapter 6 Test, Math Journal Pages 246, Study Link 6.13. Thursday: Mid Year Assessment Review. Friday: Mid Year Assessment.	Reading: We are going to be starting our next story "The Case of the Phantom Poet.” There are practice book pages that go along with the story. Students will learn new vocabulary words. There is also a daily writing prompt. We will be using practice book pages 103-109. Monday: No School. Tuesday: Read “The Unusual Robot” and practice book pages 103 and 104 and Read “The Case of the Phantom Poet” and practice book pages 105 and 109. Wednesday: Re-read “The Case of the Phantom Poet” and practice book pages 106 and 108. Thursday: Read “How to Conduct a Survey” and practice book pages 107. Friday: Reading Test. * Monday through Thursday read 30 minutes	Science: We will be doing the Xcel Energy-Living Wise Program. Students will have quizzes, reading, and vocabulary words to study. Monday: No School. Tuesday: Living Wise Program. Wednesday: Living Wise Program. Thursday: Living Wise Program. Friday: No Class.
Grammar: We will have a grammar packet. Topics include: Irregular Verbs and Punctuating a Play. Monday: No School. Tuesday: Irregular Verbs, pages 89 and Irregular Verbs, page 90. Wednesday: Punctuating a Play, page 91. Thursday: Irregular Verbs, page 92. Friday: Grammar Test.	Social: (Minnesota History): We are continuing with Ch. 5-The Fur Trade. Students will have worksheets to fill out throughout the chapter. Also, one student a week will be presenting current events every Monday and having a quiz on Friday's. We also have a small booklet on Minnesota. Monday: No School. Tuesday: Current Events. Wednesday: TFK. Thursday: Continue with Chapter 5. Friday: Quiz on Current Events.	Spelling: Students will have a spelling packet. This week’s words are: Words Adding –ion and -ation. Monday: No School. Tuesday: Pretest, and Pages 89 and 90 and Words Adding –ion & –ation, Pg 91. Wednesday: Words Adding –ion and -ation, Page 92. Thursday: Words Adding –ion and -ation, Page 93 & 94. Friday: Spelling Test. Review: incomplete, supermarket, outfield Challenge: evaporate, evaporation This list, along with games to play using the spelling words can be found on the website under “online learning".
Religion: We will be discussing the time of lent as Ash Wednesday is this week. We will also be discussing God’s Strong People. This will include God working through His people, The Maccabees defend the Jewish faith and Judea losing its independence to Roman Rule.
