Math: Now that we know how to add and
subtract we will be playing the game…What’s my
Rule. We will be also be reading number stories and
trying to find the answer. At the end of the week
we will be planning a class celebration. |
Handwriting: This week we will learn how to
write the Vv and Yy. After learning how to properly
write the letters we will find words that begin
with those sounds. Phonics: |
Reading: This week we are ending Unit 6. Our
theme this week is Neighborhood Workers. The main
reading selection is Alicia’s Happy Day by Meg
Starr. After reading our stories we will be
summarizing and retelling the stories. We will be
reviewing the high-frequency words ARE, FOR, and
YOU. We will also be reviewing the phonics Hh, Dd,
and Rr. |

Science: We are starting Science this week! Our first lesson in Science is Animals two by two. We will be having our first class pets. Goldfish and Guppies. We will learn how to care for these animals and watch them grow |
Religion: We will talk about how we can learn about God through our families and how we share God’s love with our family members |
